We're here to help you, step-by-step, through the Work Permit process:

  • What they are
  • Who is eligible
  • And how to apply

What is an Employment Authorization Document (EAD)?

Settlers living in the US and outside nationals who need to come to the US can't work except if they get consent from the US government. That consent comes as a Work Approval Report (EAD). EADs are even more generally known as "Work Grants." Work Licenses are photograph distinguishing proof cards given by the U.S. Citizenship and Migration Administrations(USCIS), and they resemble a driver's permit.

What is the difference between a Work Permit and a Work Visa?

Many individuals confound Business Approval Records (Work Allows) and Work Visas, so you're in good company if you don't know of the distinction.

A Work Visa permits you to live in the U.S. what's more, work for a particular boss. That business applies for the visa for you, and the key will be legitimate however long you keep working for that business. You may work for that business while in the U.S. Assuming you leave that business, you cannot work for any other individual until you get another migration status.

Business Approval Records (Work Licenses) are not attached to a particular boss. When you have a Work Grant, you can work for any business in the U.S. You should recharge your Work License consistently. However, you may have the option to restore, assuming you have a movement status that permits you to continue to work.
